A good concealer can brighten the eye area, make you look more awake, and lift the appearance of your entire face. There are many wonder concealers out there that do all these things and I’ve listed a few of them below!
- Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer. This is one of the most popular concealers on the market. It has great coverage, and applies beautifully. You can wear it all day and it doesn’t crack or dry out. It costs $28, making it a bit pricey but you also have the option to get a travel size for $12 so you can try it out!
- Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Concealer. For under $7 you can get a good quality concealer, making this a customer favorite. The applicator doesn’t work well, so I just use my ring fingers. This concealer applies great but can begin to break down after wearing it for hours. If you set it correctly with powder and moisturize the area before applying it can help with this. It’s not that this concealer is bad, it’s that there are other better ones. But overall, great product for the price!
- MAC Pro Longwear Concealer. For $22 a pop, you get a lot of product. It’s lighter than the Naked concealer, making it more comfortable to wear, though it is lesser coverage. My one complaint with this product is the packaging, if you push the top all the way down it gives you too much product. So, you have to delicately try to only push out the amount you want which can be tricky. I have found this product is best applied with the ring fingers as well instead of tugging the skin with a concealer brush. Of course, a beauty blender is great for applying too.
All three product are great. But, my favorite is the MAC Pro Longwear. Its the perfect amount of coverage and is weightless. The Naked concealer claims its weightless, but I personally find it heavier on my skin. The Maybelline concealer is great for its price, but is lower in quality compared to its high-end counterparts mentioned in this post. As mentioned, I always recommend moisturizing the eye area beforehand and setting with a powder after! I hope you will try one of the concealers mentioned and find your next must-have product! Please comment down below any concealer recommendations you have so I can give them a try!
